Definition of the purpose

These Conditions of Use (“Conditions”) govern your access to and use of our services, specifically our different websites, email notifications, buttons and other “Beelys Services” which have a link towards these Conditions (collectively known as the “Services”), as well as any other information and all text, graphics, photos or other documents put online, shared, downloaded and forming part of the Services (collectively known as the “Content”). Your access to and use of the Services are conditional upon your acceptance and respect of these Conditions. By accessing, or using, these Services, you accept that you are bound by these Conditions.

Beelys Services include: your personal area, the livestream, your profile, connecting you with other members of the platform, search engines,  offer of contributions of services and skills, resources made available directly or via a third party, the internal mailbox of the platform, projects that you may create or in which you may participate, project services: the welcome page for the project, online document management, task list, project calendar, logbook and the progress of the project, as well as the assistance of the Beelys Community Manager.

1. Basic Conditions

You are responsible for your use of the Services, Content that you publish on the Services, and any consequences arising from this. Most of the Content that you publish or display through Beelys Services are liable to be seen by other users.

If you accept these Conditions and use the Services on behalf of a company, an organisation or other legal entity, you declare and guarantee that you are authorised to do so. You cannot use the Services otherwise than in conformity with these Conditions and all of the applicable laws, rules and regulations, whether, at local, state, national or international level.

Services provided by Beelys are in constant development. The form and nature of the Services supplied by Beelys can change occasionally and without notice. Furthermore, Beelys may cease (definitively or temporarily) the supply of Services (or any function included within the Services), to you or to users in general, without Beelys being able to give you prior notice. We also reserve the right to set limits on the use and storage, at our sole discretion, at any time and without notice.

In return for the access provided to you at and use of the Services, you accept that Beelys and its partners can contact you for promotional purposes.

2. Confidentiality policy
Basic information concerning your account: when you create or configure an account, you provide us with personal information, such as your surname, your forename, your password, your email address or your establishment or company and your title which are listed publically, in particular on your profile page and in search results. Certain Beelys Services, such as the search and display of the public profiles of users and display of the project, do not require prior registration to be visible by other web-users.

Additional information: you may supply us with profile information that we will make public on Beelys Services, for example a short biography, your website or a photo.

You accept that in using our Services, you agree to the collection and use of this information, including the transfer of this information for storage, processing and use by Beelys. In the framework of the supply of Services, we may send you certain communications, such as service advertisements and administrative messages. These communications are considered to be an integral part of the Services and your account, such that it is not certain that you can oppose their receipt.

N.B.: you can control most of the communications sent by Beelys Services, including email notifications regarding your activity on the platform, as well as updates from Beelys.

Links: Beelys may keep a history on the manner in which you interact with links in our Services, in particular our email notifications, services and client applications, by redirecting clicks, or by other methods. This is carried out with the aim of improving our Services and the compilation of aggregated statistics on clicks, for example to determine the number of clicks on a link.

Cookies: like many other Websites, we use cookies and other similar technology to collect additional data on the use of the Website and to improve our Services. We do not, however, use cookies in numerous elements of our Services (such as the search and display of users’ public profiles).  A cookie is a small data file which is transferred onto your computer or mobile device. Beelys may also use session cookies or persistent cookies to better understand your interaction with our Services, to monitor the aggregate use of our users and the routing of Web traffic on our Services, or to personalise and improve your Services. Most internet navigators automatically accept cookies. By modifying the settings on your navigator, you can forbid cookies or configure the appearance of windows of acceptance of cookies of Websites that you consult. Nevertheless, certain Services may not operate correctly if you deactivate/refuse cookies.

Sharing and disclosure of information: We disclose and share your information in accordance with your instructions, for example, when you authorise a Website or a third-party application to access your account. Other users can share or disclose information about you, for example, when they mention you.

Your information may be used for the purposes of improving and promoting the platform. 

In certain cases information may be shared with partners, but always with the aim of improving and promoting the platform, never for targeted advertising.


Access to and modification of your personal data: If you are registered as a user of our Services, we supply you with the account tools and settings to access, correct, delete or modify personal information that you have supplied and which are associated with your account and you can request access to additional information by clicking here [mailto].

You should remember that search engine may still temporarily keep copies of your public information, such as your user profile information, even after having deleted information on Beelys Services or deleting your account.


In France, personal data is specifically protected by law n° 78-87 of 6 January 1978, law n° 2004-801 of 6 August 2004, Article L. 226-13 of the Criminal Code and the European Directive of 24 October 1995.

In accordance with the provisions of Articles 38 et seq. of law 78-17 of 6 January 1978 relating to computers, files and freedom, any user has a right of access, rectification and opposition to personal data concerning him/her, by making a written and signed request, accompanied by a copy of an identity document with the signature of the document’s holder, stipulating the address to which the response should be sent.

3. Passwords

You are responsible for the protection of the password that you use to access the Services and for all activities or actions carried out after authentication with your password. For this reason, we require you to use strong passwords (passwords made up of a combination of upper and lower case letters and numbers). Beelys cannot be held responsible for any loss or damage of any kind resulting from a breach of the preceding on your part.

4. Content of Services

All Content, whether published or communicated on a public or private basis, is placed under the sole responsibility of the person who originates the communication of this Content. Beelys is not able to monitor or control all Content posted through the Services, and cannot be held liable in respect of this Content. You recognise that all use of Content published or obtained via the Services, is at your entire risk.


The comprehensiveness, veracity, accuracy or reliability of the Content or information published via the Services (particularly on the livestream) is not, in any way, borne, supported, claimed or guaranteed by Beelys. Beelys does not support any opinion expressed through its Services. You accept that by using the Services, you may be exposed to Content that may be offensive, hurtful, inaccurate, inappropriate or misleading.


5. Your licence for use of the Services

Beelys grants you a personal licence, free of charge, non-transferable and non-exclusive to use the platform made available to you by Beelys within the framework of the Services. This licence has the sole aim of allowing you to use and benefit from the Services provided by Beelys, in accordance with these Conditions.


6. Rights of Beelys: The Services and Content offered by Beelys are protected by copyright, trademarks and other laws. Nothing in these Conditions gives you the right to use the term Beelys or any of the brands, logos, domain names and other distinctive signs belonging to Beelys. Any remark, comment or suggestion that you may submit regarding Beelys or the Services is made freely and spontaneously and we will be free to use these remarks, comments or suggestions in any way we wish and without any obligation towards you.



7. Rules of Beelys

In order to supply the Beelys service and the possibility to communicate and remain in contact with other users, we have set out certain restrictions applicable to the type of content which may be published on

Identity theft: you must not pass yourself off as another person on Beelys in a manner which leads to, or aims to lead to misunderstanding, confusion or deception of other people.

Respect of intellectual property: you must not use the name of an organisation (organisation, company, brand) in your projects, unless you have the right to do so.

Accounts using the names and/or logos of the organisation in order to mislead other users may be subject to permanent suspension.

Private information: you cannot disseminate or publish private and confidential information belonging to other people, such as their bank payment card number, their postal address or social security/ national identity card number.

Violence and threats: you must not disseminate or promote violent threats regarding other people.

Copyright: we respond to clear and comprehensive notification of alleged infringements of copyright. Users can notify breaches directly on the project page.

Unlawful use: you must not use our service for illegal purposes or for the purpose of illegal activities. International users agree to comply with local legislation governing online content and acceptable content.

Multiple accounts: you cannot create multiple accounts for the purposes of disruption, wrongdoing, or for redundant bandwidth. The mass creation of accounts may lead to the suspension of all accounts concerned. Note that any violation of the Rules of Beelys may lead to the permanent suspension of all accounts concerned.

Targeted abuse: you must not indulge in targeted abuse of harassment. These are some factors that we take into account to determine whether conduct represents targeted abuse or harassment:

·         if you send messages to a user from multiple accounts;

·         if the sole aim of your account is to send inappropriate messages to other people;

·         if the behaviour reported is unilateral or includes threats.

Monopolisation of user names: you must not monopolise user names. Accounts which remain inactive for more than six months may be deleted without notice. Here are some factors which we take into consideration to determine whether conduct represents monopolisation of user names:

·         the number of accounts created;

·         the creation of accounts with the aim of preventing other people from using the account names concerned;

·         the creation of accounts with the aim of selling them;

Harmful programmes/phishing: you must not publish or use links towards harmful programmes whose aim is to adversely affect the operation of the navigator or computer of a user, or to disrupt a user, or to compromise the privacy of the user.

Explicit content: you must not use pornographic or excessively violent images in your profile or community photo or in your project/idea areas, or any page that may be visible to any other user.

If you indulge in one of the behaviours mentioned above, your account may be suspended for breach of our Conditions.
Beelys reserves the right to immediately terminate your account, without notice, if we consider that you are infringing these Rules, or our Conditions.
We also reserve the right to access, read, retain and disclose any information that we reasonably consider necessary: (i) for the satisfaction of any applicable law or regulation, or any legal procedure or administrative request, (ii) to ensure that these Conditions are respected, including within the framework of an investigation into potential breaches of these Conditions, (iii) to detect, prevent or deal with fraud or security problems or technical difficulties, (iv) to respond to requests for assistance from users, or (v) to protect the interests, property or security of Beelys, its users or the public.

When accessing or using the Services, you are not authorised to carry out the following actions: (i) access the Services’ private administration areas or computer systems belonging to Beelys or the technical supply systems of Beelys’ service providers, not to use or alter these, (ii) survey, scan or test the vulnerability of any system or network or infringe or bypass security or authentication  measures, (iii) access or attempt to access the Services or search or try to search, through the Services, by any method (automated or otherwise), other than via the public interface provided by Beelys. Use of the Services without the prior agreement of Beelys is expressly forbidden), (iv) falsify a TCP/IP packet heading or any part of the information in the heading of an email or a publication, or use the Services in any manner to send altered, misleading or whose source is falsely identified, or (v) disrupt or interrupt (or attempt to) the access of any user, host or network, specifically including the sending of a virus, overloading type operations, flooding, spamming, or mail-bombing against the Services, or by scripting the creation of Content so as to interfere with the Services or create an undue burden on the Services.


8. Copyright policy

Beelys respects intellectual property rights of others and expects users of the Services do likewise.

You are responsible for the use you make of the Services, Content that you communicate and all of their consequences, including the use of your Content by other users and by our third party partners.

If you do not hold the rights required for the communication of this Content for such a use, you will be liable. You declare and guarantee that you have the rights, powers and authorisations necessary to grant the rights accorded by virtue of these Conditions on the Content that you submit. In the event of intellectual property theft, Beelys cannot be held responsible.


The Content made available may be used by Beelys for the purpose of the improvement and promotion of the platform. In certain cases, it may be shared with partners but always for the purpose of improvement and promotion of the platform, never for targeted advertising.


This use can be made without financial compensation for you in respect of the Content that you submit, publish, transmit or make available through the Services.


Creation of a project on the Beelys platform does not constitute legal protection of the project. Beelys recommends that you protect your ideas and your projects using the organisations that exist for this purpose (INPI)


We respond to notifications regarding an infringement of copyright provided these comply with the applicable legislation and are properly addressed to us. If you think that part of your Content has been reproduced or disseminated in a fraudulent manner, please report this breach using the function provided for this purpose.


We reserve the right to delete allegedly fraudulent Content without notice, at our sole discretion and without any liability on our part towards you. When circumstances justify this, Beelys shall also be entitled to terminate the user’s account if the user is believed to have acted fraudulently on a number of occasions.


9. Termination

These Conditions will continue to apply until their termination by you or by Beelys under the following terms: You may terminate your agreement with Beelys at any time, without reason or for any reason whatsoever by deleting your accounts and ending your use of the Services. It is not necessary to specifically inform Beelys when you stop using the Services. If you stop using the Services without deleting your accounts, these may be deleted due to prolonged inactivity.


We may suspend or terminate your accounts, or cease to provide you with all or part of the Services at any time, without reason or for any reason whatsoever, including, but not limited to, when we reasonable believe that: (i) you have breached these Conditions, (ii) you create a risk or a potential legal exposure for us. We shall implement reasonable endeavours to notify you, at the email address associated to your account.


10. Warnings and limitation of liability

The Services are provided on an “as is” basis: You use and access the Services and Content at your sole risk. You understand and accept that the Services are provided to you on an “AS IS” and “AS AVAILABLE” basis.

Beelys gives no warranty and makes no declaration and declines all responsibility in respect of:(i) the comprehensiveness, accuracy, availability, punctuality, security or reliability of the Services or the Content, (ii) damages suffered by your computer system, or loss of data, or other damages resulting from your access to or use of the Services or Content, (iii) the deletion of Content and other communications managed by the Services or any failure in their conservation or transmission, and (iv) knowing whether the Services will be suitable for your requirements or will be available in an uninterrupted, secure or error-free manner. No advice or information, whether verbal or written, obtained from Beelys or via the Services, create any warranty or declaration unless these are expressly mentioned in the Conditions.


Links: The Services may contain links to third party sites or resources. You recognise and accept that Beelys is not responsible for: (i) the availability or accuracy of these sites or resources, or (ii) the content, products or services available on or from these sites or resources. No link to these sites or resources implies the approval of Beelys of these sites or resources or their content or the products or services offered by these sites or resources.  The use of such sites or resources is made under your own responsibility and at your sole and entire risk.


Limitation of liability: Beelys provides assistance in the framework of projects/ideas developed on the platform but cannot, under any circumstances, be held responsible for the failure of a project or idea for any reason whatsoever.



11. General Conditions

Waiver and severability: The fact that Beelys does not seek to avail itself of a right or provision of these Conditions cannot be considered to be a waiver of this right or provision. In the event that a provision of these Conditions is judged to be invalid or unenforceable, this provision shall be limited or deleted strictly to the extent that this is necessary and the remaining provisions of these Conditions shall remain fully in force.


Entirety of agreement: These Conditions may be subject to occasional change, the latest version always being available at the address: If we consider these modifications to be substantive, we will bring them to your attention via an update by email to the email address associated with your account. In continuing to access or use the Services after the entry into force of these modifications, you accept to be contractually bound by these new Conditions of use.


Applicable law: These Conditions and any legal action undertaken in relation to these Conditions are governed by the laws in force in France without consideration or application of the legal provisions of your State or country of residence in relation to conflict of laws. Any claims, legal proceedings or disputes relating to the Services will exclusively be brought in French Courts. You accept the material and territorial competence of these Courts and renounce any objection in this regard.
